Booking an Appointment

All booking is now done online through the 417 Cosmetics scheduling page. This makes it convenient and fast for you to pick your procedure, choose your appointment day and time, and fill out some of your forms in advance!

We now offer packages in which you can bundle together the cost for your initial and touch up appointments for Microbladed Eyebrows, Tattoo Eyeliner, and Tattoo Lip Blush & Liner. You will find these packages toward the bottom of the scheduling page. These packages can also be gifted to someone else.

If you call, email, or Facebook message the studio to make an appointment, you will be directed to the scheduling page here on our website. As all of your pre-booking forms and instructions for before your procedures are included in your conformation email, you must book online using an accessible email.

Richelle’s regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9am-5pm.

Richelle may at any time adjust her days or hours of availability based on seasonal traffic, personal needs, and training/teaching classes. Her open availability is listed in full on the scheduling page when you book your appointment. Please do not message or email asking if a day or time is available or can be opened up. If she is able to see clients at that time, it is listed as open in her scheduling books.

Cosmetic tattoos will not be performed on any persons under the age of 18, even with parental consent. This is in compliance with Missouri state laws on tattooing. Richelle will not make any exceptions on this.

Richelle will not perform cosmetic tattooing on clients who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding. Pregnant women should not receive tattooing of any kind, and the fluctuation of hormones during breastfeeding can cause pigment to heal patchy, faded, or be rejected entirely by the body. It is recommended you wait for at least two weeks after milk has dried completely before booking a procedure.

Clients who are immunocompromised or who have recently had radiation/chemotherapy should get approval from their physician before getting cosmetic tattooing, as it can cause complications with the healing process or lead to infection.

Appointment Day

New clients must arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork.

You will be turned away and lose your deposit if you are MORE THAN 15 MINUTES for your appointment.

Please bring cash, check, or money order to pay for your services.

Debit/credit cards can be used to pay for services but will include a 3% processing fee.

You have the option to pay for your procedure in full online by purchasing one of the package bundles and using it when you book.

Please make arrangements for children, animals, or other persons with you, as only the client and Richelle will be permitted in the procedure room during your appointment. This is for your safety and to comply with sanitation laws. New procedures last about two hours, so please arrange accordingly. There are no exceptions made for partners/significant others to be in the room with you.

If you have need of a service animal or companion for medical reasons, please email Richelle at 417cosmetics@gmail.com before booking to discuss logistics for arrangements.

Please follow all instructions given to you to prepare for your specific procedure. If you come to your appointment and it is apparent that you have not followed the given safety protocols, you will be turned away and lose your deposit. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Having sunburnt, noticeably damaged, or too dry of skin.

  • Being under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances.

  • Having ingested caffeine or OTC pain medications.

  • Being obviously pregnant or still breastfeeding.

  • Having any symptoms of contagious illness.

Richelle does not want to turn away clients, but must ensure that all procedures are done safely and under all legal requirements. Please carefully read ALL instructions and forms given to you to prevent any reason for Richelle to turn you away on your appointment day.

Rescheduling, Cancellation, and No-Show Fees and Policies

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. 

All of our appointments are confirmed by email at the time of booking, and we send a reminder by email and/or text 5 days in advance (because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked last month!) This gives you plenty of time to reschedule if there are any impediments or scheduling conflicts.

All procedures will require a $50 deposit when booked online to hold your appointment date and time. If you fail to reschedule or cancel your appointment more than 48 hours in advance, you will forfeit your deposit, and a new one will be required to schedule your procedure again. Richelle has the final authority in exemption from this charge in the case of extreme medical emergency.

You are responsible for rescheduling and/or cancelling your own appointment. Your confirmation and reminder emails contain links to reschedule or cancel, along with a summary of the policies.

The website will prevent you from cancelling or rescheduling less than 48 hours before your appointment, so you will have to schedule a new procedure and pay a new deposit to make another appointment after that time.

417 Cosmetics will not cancel or reschedule for you if you call, text, or messenger us with a request to do so - you will be redirected to your email to cancel or reschedule from there.

If you no-show with no notice for your appointment after paying a deposit, you will be charged for half the remaining cost of the procedure using the card on file. In order to schedule another appointment, you will be required to pay for the entire cost of the procedure in advance. Clients who no-show twice will be banned from scheduling future services. Richelle has the final authority in exemptions from this charge in case of extreme medical emergencies.

Future touch-ups/procedures

If at any time you go to another technician after Richelle has done your original procedure/s, she will no longer perform any future services on you. Richelle is the only person that performs permanent makeup in our office and her schedule stays quite full. It is up to the client to maintain their current and future appointments. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates can be purchased on our scheduling page, and may be used for any permanent makeup service. They are non-transferable after redemption online and are not redeemable for cash. Gift certificates will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission. Gift certificates cannot be combined with other certificates and are not valid with other promos and offers. Gift certificates are valid for one calendar year from the date of purchase.
